Following command line parameters can be used with HTML-Kit. Note that since some of the following commands may not be forward compatible, options accessible through the graphical user interface should be used whenever possible instead of command line parameters.

| file name | Open specified file(s) in HTML-Kit. The file name must contain the full path to the file and names with spaces must be in double quotes. Multiple file names can be passed by placing a space between the names. All file names must be listed before any other parameters. | 290+ |

| /si | Open a single instance of HTML-Kit. If another instance is already open, it will receive focus instead of opening a new instance. | 290+ |
| /ui:win95 | Use Windows 95 style user interface. | 292+ |
| /linux | Run in Linux compatible mode. | 292+ |
| /vr | Start in voice recognition mode. | 292+ |
| /nohelp | Disable context sensitive help used by the application. | 292+ |
| /sph | Skip IE/Gecko preview help prompt. | 292+ |
| /rss | Recalculate screen space. | 292+ |
| /scc | Skip warning when running on 16 color display mode. Not recommended. | 290+ |
