Projects organized

The project window starts off with features found in HTML-Kit 292 Workspace and goes on to add virtual folders, batch search/replace, and more.

Special characters

Don't let the HTML entities remind you of the multiplication table. The special characters are now appearing on channel 3 for your convenience.

Tools in Dutch

Speak Dutch? Gerard, the author of gsTranslationDutch, has created a full translation of Tools for reading menus, settings and dialogs in Dutch.

Open in Chrome

Testing your pages in Google's new browser? The 20080915 update to HTML-Kit Tools makes it easier to preview the current file in Chrome.

Preview and insert

Inserting IMG tags? Tune into Channel 3 on the Actions Bar to quickly browse and preview images before inserting the HTML tags into your pages.

New HTML tab

The new HTML tab reduces the number of keystrokes and clicks. Instead of pressing the right arrow multiple times, simply press Tab to jump to the next HTML attribute.

Folder Map

If your site's folder structure keeps growing or if you're starting work on a complex site, HTML-Kit Tools's folder map feature can generate a graphical view of your site.

Hover to preview

Working with a large number of images or just want to make sure what a particular image looks like? Preview images simply by hovering the mouse pointer over image files.

Project toolbar

Tired of right clicking project items and scrolling down to menus? The optional toolbar in HTML-Kit Tools project windows makes it easier to access commands and external menus.

The little birdie says

If you're using Twitter to stay in the loop, now you can view HTML-Kit happenings on your mobile phone and other Twitter applications.

Outgoing HTML-Kit

You could say that HTML-Kit has become a bit more outgoing, now that it has a page on the popular social networking site (or utility if you prefer) Facebook. Stop by and say hi if you're on Facebook.
